Early Voting - October 23-30

Maryland now has early voting opportunities! If you would like to avoid lines at the polls you may go into an early voting center and vote.
Early Voting is October 23-30. Early voting centers will be open from 10am - 8pm. If you are registered to vote in Montgomery County, you can cast your ballot at ANY early voting center in the county. (On election day, you can only vote at your designated polling location.)

Anyone can vote by mail

You just need to request your ballot from the Board of Elections.  Ballots are already going out now and final deadlines to request them are in June.  Visit this website for more information:

For the 2014 General Election, your request must be received (not just mailed) by: 

  • Tuesday, October 28, 2014, if you want to receive your ballot by mail or fax
  • Friday, October 31, 2014, if you want to download your ballot from the State’s website


Voter registration deadline is October 14
