The coalition we’re building has a vision.
We want all Marylanders to enjoy equal rights, the best possible education, safe and healthy environments, and a strong economy.
Our campaign is supported by individuals, elected officials, and community organizations that represent tens of thousands who share this vision.
Our team includes members of the Sierra Club, Montgomery County’s teachers and educators, SEIU Local 500, NARAL Pro-Choice Maryland, and MCPS Retirees. This week, Montgomery Women and Equality Maryland have joined our team. Together we will work to make our vision for Maryland a reality.
At the end of the day, politics, like policy, is about teamwork. I know the way to succeed is by building a strong, diverse team that shares a common goal. That’s why I’m thrilled to have the support of these important organizations (to see a full list of my endorsements, click here).
When I get up in the morning to do the tough work of campaigning, these folks have my back. They are committed to our joint vision, and most importantly, they know I will work effectively towards our common goals after I am elected.
I am proud of my years of experience with coalition work, and especially proud of the work I have done in advocacy coalitions to advance legislation for public health, education, and the environment here in Maryland.
This newest coalition will be working together towards victory on election day (September 14), and long after. Our goal? To ensure experienced, principled leadership in District 16, so we can recognize our vision for Maryland’s future.
Will you join us?
